Idarose, aka Alexis Idarose Kesselman, is a Warner Chappell signed multi-platinum songwriter, producer, composer and artist whose music has been featured in #1 box office films and streamed over a billion times. At heart, Alexis is a storyteller. She brings distinctively magnetic ideas to every project she works on and has a knack for connecting to the true core of the story that wants to be told through music.

Highlights of Alexis’ career include co-writing Joji’s Spotify US & Global number one and Billboard Hot 100 top ten single “Glimpse of Us”. She has had releases with notable artists such as Brett Eldredge, Kelly Clarkson, TWICE, Becky G, Suki Waterhouse, and more.

In the film sphere, Alexis produced and wrote four songs for Naomi Scott’s character Skye Riley in the new Blockbuster sequel Smile 2. Her work also includes her co-penmanship of “F is for Friends,” the third single by Tainy, Becky G, and Trevor Daniel for the Spongebob movie, “Spongebob: Sponge on the Run”. Alexis is also working on multiple stage musicals which are in the writing and development phases.

Along with writing and producing for others, Alexis developed her own artist project under the name “Idarose.” At the beginning of 2021, after receiving over 1.8 million views on Tik Tok on a small clip of the original song, she released her breakout single “When I Don’t Have You,” which she co-wrote with Abigail Barlow and self produced. The song has garnered over 2 million streams on Spotify alone. She then released her follow-up single “Different People” which she wrote, recorded, produced and mixed herself.

Alexis completed her undergraduate degree in Media Writing and Production and minored in Songwriting and Motion Pictures at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. She received her Master of Arts in Creative Media and Technology from Berklee College of Music with a specialization in Writing and Design for Musical Theater at the legendary Power Station Studios in NYC. Alexis is signed as a songwriter/producer with Warner Chappell and EP Entertainment and is managed by Milk & Honey.
